Dr Ross Farrell

Managing / Technical Director
Ross has more than 15 years of international experience working across industry and academic roles in the fields of Analytical Chemistry, Wood Science, Optimisation and Software Development. Ross has worked with world leading Scientists in real-time sensing technology including the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH-Zurich. Ross founded IUGOTEC in 2016 in light of the immense need & opportunity for intelligent sensing systems combining real-time chemical detection technology & AI. Ross is passionate about developing technology solutions that will solve big challenges and have immediate and positive, real-world impact.

Dr Karolina Skraskova

Director of Research Operations
Karolina is an Analytical Chemist and Pharmacist with expertise in advanced mass spectrometry, including state-of-the-art mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) and related technologies. She previously worked at the Atomic & Molecular Physics institute (AMOLF) in Amsterdam and completed her PhD there with Prof Ron Heeren. In addition to experience at the forefront of molecular imaging, she has also developed analytical protocols for pharmaceutical, environmental and food control applications. Karolina is an exemplary scientist, strategic thinker and project manager. At IUGOTEC, Karolina manages and directs our science based R&D projects, driving innovation from research to reality.
